Jump Start & Reach For The Stars Programs:
At West Whittier, we offer before and after school programs. If you are interested in enrolling your child for either the Jump Start Program (in the morning), or Reach for the Starts Program (afterschool), you may stop by the school office to pick up an application. Please note that only students who have been contacted by the Reach for the Stars personnel will be allowed to participate.

For students who are not enrolled in the free lunch program, the cost of lunch is $3 and breakfast is offered for $2. Milk or juice may be purchased for $.50. Food Services has asked that ALL families complete the attached lunch application and return to our school ASAP.  Therefore, please complete the lunch application.  Completed applications can be returned to our school or delivered directly to Food Services at 10706 E. Secure Campus Policy:
It is our desire to have a safe environment for our students, staff members, and all individuals visiting our campus. Therefore, West Whittier is a Secure Campus. The secure campus policy requires that all visitors check in through the office. Identification will be required if we are unable to identify you as a parent/guardian. Therefore, please be prepared with a valid I.D.

To ensure safety, parents are asked to say goodbye to their children at the Welcome Gate in the mornings. However, parents may enter campus through the welcome gate August 15-17th (the first three days of school) and remain with them until school begins at 8:05 (Grades 3-5) and 8:15 (Grades TK-2). This will allow parents and students to get acquainted with their new teachers and classrooms. However, beginning Monday, August 20th, parents must say goodbye to their children at the welcome gate. Thank you in advance for your support and cooperation.
